Are you a complete sewing beginner looking to make sense of how to use a sewing machine? This is a one-off class perfect for you hosted by Stitch! expert seamstress Pat Stevens where you will learn your way around the workings, parts and components of a sewing machine provided by us for the class, written instructions and some materials provided.
What's included in the price?
In this workshop you will- • Learn your way around the workings, parts and components of a sewing machine • Learn how to set up and thread a machine and how to wind a bobbin • Learn how to set the correct tension • Learn how to sew straight seams * Change the needle * You will practice some stitching in order to gain the skills you need to tackle your future projects. No need to bring anything- All equipment and material is provided. We have Janome sewing machines on site. But please do bring a notebook in case you wish to jot down ideas. CLASS SIZE: 6 maximum
