Description
Over this 2 day workshop you will learn the traditional craft of stained glass. Working from a selection of designs and glass you will be supported over the two days to create a unique piece of art to grace your home or garden. This course will run over 2 consecutive Saturdays, the first date being the one advertised. All abilities welcome. The course cost includes the use of all tools and materials, tea and coffee. You should bring with you: Old clothes, sturdy shoes (no open toes) and a packed lunch. You may also want to bring a notepad and pencil. Disposable gloves, face masks and eye protection will be provided. IMPORTANT NOTICE: * The course content requires some strength in the hands and wrists therefore those suffering with Arthritis or other related condition may want to discuss this beforehand. You will be standing for long periods throughout the day so this will need to be borne in mind. * Students will be working with lead/lead-based products therefore this course may be unsuitable for those that are pregnant or those that are breast feeding
