Description
A 6 week half day course that is aimed at beginners who would like to gain confidence and new skills in exploring different crafts. Students will have an introduction to a range of different craft styles week by week and then will produce a final piece in their favourite media. Course description: Materials are provided, for you to try a different craft every week. A sketchbook will also be included for you to put samples into. By the end of the course you'll have gained in confidence and created a varied body of work as a result of exploring different crafts and you will have developed a final artistic piece. Topics covered: • Encaustic wax • Lino • Gelli plate print • Felting • Stencilling • Final Piece

At the Art and Design Studio, we run a range of relaxed and informal art and craft classes to suit A Level students and adults of all levels of ability. These range from a 1/2 day craft workshop to a 12 week course, all at our studio in Great Waltham, CM3 1DF.
