Description
Come and join us for an evening of creativity and learn how to weave an assortment of different festive willow decorations. This workshop is a perfect introduction to the traditional craft of willow basketry. Yeoman basketmaker Eleanor Morgan will teach you how to weave different styles of decorations, from mini wreaths to Christmas trees, garlands and stars. You’ll then have plenty of time to experiment and make several decorations of your own. We’ll be using some foraged material, as well as Somerset grown willow, to make the decorations.
