The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.
"A very enjoyable and relaxing morning in the woods. Suz gave gentle instruction and we returned home as proud owners of willow obelisks. Highly recommend "
"Great day, I ended up with exactly the basket I wanted. Although it isn't completely symmetrical it was my first attempt and will prove very useful.
Tuition was excellent."
The Coppice Co. responded:
"Hi Victoria! Thank you for your review and I'm glad to hear that you had a great day!"
"My wife bought me this Willow Obelisk Plant Support course, Suz was brilliant, showed us how to get going and was there on hand to help when needed. I thoroughly enjoyed this course, thank you Suz!"
The Coppice Co. responded:
"Thank you Kevin! I'm really glad to hear that you both had a lovely day!"
"I really enjoyed the course and came away with a wonderful basket I made myself! I still can’t believe I made the basket in that timeframe - I highly recommend the course for anyone interested in getting started with basket making"
