"Absolutely brilliant Afternoon spent with Sarah on a Stained Glass combined with a Glass Fusion course. We came away with some lovely items we had made with instruction and guidance from Sarah who is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. All being over 60, and never too old to learn something new. Would well recommend any of the courses on offer. We will be booking the enamelling course next."

"We (3 of us) did the glass fusing taster session on a rainy horrible day, it was warm and cosy in Sarah’s workshop. We had great fun with lots of different materials to create our pieces with. Sarah was very knowledgeable and helpful when we didn’t quite know what we were doing. We had a great time and would recommend this session to anyone. "

"This was the best craft course we have ever done! We took part as a family of three with a teenager. We have tried several things before but never glass, so we thought the three element course would suit us well. Everything was perfect. Sarah communicated well before the day so that we fully understood where to park. We were met with a coffee and we made our way to the delightful workshop. Sarah is an excellent teacher (and I say that as a professional educator of adults myself). She explains things perfectly, gently points out if you are going off track, allows you full freedom to design your own pieces and is there to help whenever you need her. The equipment is excellent and the range of materials is outstanding. Unlike on some other craft courses, Sarah is generous with the materials and provides silver or copper findings for the jewellery. I love how Sarah let us do all the steps ourselves including putting things in and out of the kiln. In the middle of the day we stopped for an absolutely delectable lunch. This was ploughman’s style including lovely carved ham, cheeses, pate, salad, breads and tray cakes. Throughout the rest of the day, coffee, tea and cordial is frequently offered. The atmosphere was easy going but safety was a priority at all times. We came away relaxed having had a lovely day as a family and fully intending to return to do the pottery day next time. Thank you Sarah for a lovely day! "

We didn't have any previous experience (apart from making a pot when I was in primary school) and Chris and Sarah were both great teachers. "I had a great day doing a one-to-one fused glass course. Sarah was very welcoming and happy to answer all my questions about all sorts of things glass as well as adapt the contents of the day to suit my requests. Lunch was delicious (especially the cake) and it was incredibly useful to build my confidence before getting stuck in with my own kit. Thanks again Sarah, the last bits I needed to get started are on order and I better get practicing as our 4 year old is now desperate to design her own 'special glass pebble' after seeing my test piece!"

"I had a fabulous time doing the combined glass and pottery half day workshop with a friend. I loved getting a taster of both crafts yet still having enough time to produce some pieces (3 x glass pieces and 3 x pots). Both Sarah and Chris were extremely supportive and encouraging and made the afternoon a lot of fun. I would recommend this course for anyone looking who is not sure of their creative ability but wants to have a go ... you will be surprised with what you are able to create."

"I bought this class as a 50th birthday gift for my friend and I treated myself too. We had a brilliant and absorbing afternoon with Chris and Sarah trying our hand at pottery and glass fusing. The pair are highly skilled and eager to share their knowledge and skills and help you get the best out of your creative time in their garden workshop and studio. I loved getting my hands dirty at the pottery wheel and had fun decorating my pots with Chris' coloured slips. There were lots of gorgeous choices to make when it came to the glass fusing, which required a more delicate touch - Sarah was very patient with me! I'm thrilled with the three pots, colourful pendants and cocktail stirrer I made. I'll definitely be booking another class."

"I booked this course for my mum as a 60th birthday present She really enjoyed it. She found Sarah to be an excellent and very experienced teacher and she really got on really well with her. She’s come away with some brilliant looking pieces and is excited to book in again to go back in the future She enjoyed having an overview of all the different styles of glass work, and is keen to go back and learn more about each. Sarah made mum feel really welcome and completely at ease, . "

"I bought the half day pottery and glass fusion class as a Mother’s Day gift for myself and my mom. We had a lovely time and have some fab…maybe questionable but fab nether the less items that we made to keep as memories. Both Sarah and Chris were very welcoming and friendly, easy to chat and joke with. I also came down with covid a few days before we were due to go and they were very accommodating and professional about it. Great experience and would highly recommend."

"I received this 90 minute course as a gift. Sarah was very professional throughout and a clear and enthusiastic teacher. Although I had never done any glass fusing before the instructions were easy to follow and I managed to make several small items. Sarah was able to offer tips and pointers throughout so that hopefully the items will be good enough to wear and use. Sarah has a really good set up for teaching and I thoroughly enjoyed the session. Communication prior to the session was easy and quick with very good joining instructions and directions to the venue. Thank you."
