Maker's bio

Jo Hunter is the designer/maker/tutor behind West Country Creative. Jo is a qualified Art Clay Instructor and Adult Education tutor, with a background in Graphic Design. Jo has a passion for texture, pattern and colour, and produces jewellery and accessories which she sells through Zebediahs, in Launceston, and at local events. Her silver clay jewellery making and polymer clay craft workshops are taught in her light and airy garden studio, on the Devon/Cornwall border, in Lifton, Devon.

"Had a wonderful day on Saturday with Jo at West Country Creative. I made a fabulous silver ring and enjoyed every minute. Jo is a font of knowledge, her purpose built studio is fantastic and she has everything you could possibly need, nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of 1:1 help and tuition with a small group (I was one of 3) and I enjoyed the company of all as we sat and created. I am already planning my next course, as I’ve caught the bug! This was a Christmas present from my husband, I wasn’t sure what to expect, however the day certainly exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend! Thank you Jo!
