Maker's bio

Hi, my name is Sarah. At The Hemming Bird I run soft furnishing workshops teaching how to make your own professionally-finished piped cushions, roman blinds and hand-finished curtains. All courses are taught in small, friendly groups in my sunny garden studio, with lots of one-to-one attention and all to City & Guilds standards. I also have Sewing Café Sessions where you can sew your own projects with help at hand - a great way to build your confidence! Machines, notes and tools provided.
