This is a great course for those of you wanting to learn loads in two days. An intensive weekend being taken through tools, timber and techniques. Resulting in a functional piece of furniture. You will design and build you own hedge chair from scratch. We only use timber from our neighbouring woodlands, sustainably managed and in community ownership. Beginners Lettering Workshops Experienced letterer and tutor Natasha Smith will guide you through the process of hand lettering on stone, from sketch to cut letter. Using chisel and hammer you can discover the meditational art of lettering. Very small groups ensure you get lots of guidance. Everyone with a bit of patience and enthusiasm will finish with 3 or 4 letters carved into stone. But be warned - stone carving is highly addictive, you may be back for more!
