Maker's bio

Textiles have always been a huge part of my life - in my 20s I was self-employed designing, making, and selling Christening Wear. I was based in Yorkshire and my business was Spangles Christening Wear. After that, for 13 years I was a Textiles Technology teacher in the UK - my last UK job was Head of Textiles at Cheltenham College. In 2015 my husband and I moved to France especially to run Creative Holidays. Textile Holidays France offers a range of holidays, retreats and day/half day workshops.
