"Booked for the beginners crochet course with Alexis and its was just me and my son's partner, so we had Alexis's undivided attention. Alexis taught us the basics of crochet with patience and good humour and at no time did I feel rushed. We made a granny square and went away with one we just started so we could practice at home along with our crochet hook and yarn. A 2 hour course which lasted just over 3 hours. Alexis is not only generous with her knowledge and encouragement but also with her time, and is quite happy to help anytime with any issues you may encounter. Lovely lady with a real passion she is keen to share."

"Absolutely brilliant evening! Alexis was extremely patient, and explained each step clearly and changing tack if necessary, to makes sure we all understood. She allowed us to work at our own pace, and was on hand to answer any queries and offer advice whenever needed. At no point did anyone feel like they were holding the others back. I would definitely go back for a more advanced class when I’m at that stage. Highly recommended!"

"Loved it!! I have always wanted to learn to crochet and admire Alexsis great patience in getting me there!!! Her knowledge and vast experience was evident throughout and her teaching style was adapted for the different skill sets of the group. I am "hooked" and keen to do more, particularly as it is easy to pick up and out down - which fits with life!! Thank you and I will be back!!"
