"Perfect workshop for the beginner! Thanks to Nyree I now have the confidence to tackle lots of pieces of furniture that I would like to paint, distress, white wash etc. We practised on smaller pieces and got information and our trial pieces to take away with us. Nice small group of 6 and all friendly. Highly recommend!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the course and loved being able to use the paints to see the true colours. It was great to mess about and experiment with them. This is vital with paint as its so difficult to know the exact shades that come out and what colours blend together. I would love to have more lessons on other types of painting. I feel I need some advice on the nest of tables I am painting and follow up lessons would be an advantage. I found it very enjoyable and the teacher was excellent!!!"

"I'd been wanting to paint some dark old pieces of furniture and this course gave me the confidence to tackle them. We were told the best paint to use and the different techniques that would give you a classy, 'distressed' finish. The course was very hands on and we got to try each technique. It was friendly and we all swapped ideas and discussed what we were planning to do. Nyree was a great teacher and clearly enjoys her craft. She showed us pictures of some of the wonderful pieces she has created. I'd recommend it to anyone."
