Alderfen Marshes conservation area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) on the Norfolk Broads, home to an abundance of wildlife.
The marshes are actively managed as a wetland in which visitors enjoy close encounters with the local wildlife including warblers, water deer, marsh harriers, butterflies, herons, dragon flies, otters and more. Private, secluded camping offers the chance to get up-close to nature, waking up to the dawn chorus as the marshes come to life.
