I have just attended a workshop entitled experimental landscapes with Liz.It was a great day and i learnt so much .Particularly colour mixing which can be rather tedious but Liz makes it interesting and of course it is invaluable.Even pleased with the end result!Nice cafe serving lovely coffee and soups/toasties too!
Thank you for your kind words Phillipa.....much appreciated. Hope you haven't fiddled with your lovely painting!
Have been meaning to start painting for some time now and Liz has provided me with the confidence and inspiration to make that first step. Her approach to teaching allows you to
enjoy the creative process but also provides you with a sense of achievement.
I now want to paint regularly and enjoy each new challenge that the course offers.
I first attended a landscape workshop with Liz at Ruffed Art Society. It was the first time had ever painted on such a large canvas and in such a free way. I enjoyed it so much I started going to the course on a Tuesday morning in Lowdham.
Liz gives you just the right amount of support and guidance without being in any way dogmatic. She has given me the tools to be able to start to develop my own style and not be overwhelmed by starting the blank page! I have now done two paintings, one still life which is now on the bedroom wall - first time ever I have been able to do that. The second is an ongoing landscape which is developing nicely and I am really enjoying it.
Would definitely recommend for whatever level of ability or style.
