Fully accredited City & Guilds Centre of Excellence In Fashion, Tailoring, Pattern Cutting, Corsetry, Lingerie, Bra making. From level 1 to level 3 Diploma. Fully accredited in textiles machine embroidery, hand embroidery at level 1 award to level 3 certificate.

IDC are working in association with Leicester College to bring you a range of Level 1 City & Guilds Awards and Certificates.
This course is for a Level 1 Award in Hand Embroidery Techniques. You will learn the basics of hand embroidery techniques and produce samples. The Award includes 30 guided teaching hours.
Many students use the Award to start a career in the heritage industry which is increasingly looking for skilled and qualified embroiderers.

A weekly recreational session where you can learn how to draft your own patterns, use commercial patterns and create your own garments. You will learn a range of techniques to construct your pieces to a high level, including traditional tailoring techniques.

We will teach you the skills needed to draft a tailored garment and turn your 2D plan into a 3D tailored jacket/blazer or traditional tailored garment.
Classes are purposefully small, only 8 per class, to ensure a high quality of teaching and attention to each student.
