Maker's bio

Although I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art (painting) from West Surrey College of Art and obtained an MA Fine Art (sculpture) from the Arts University Bournemouth, I have always enjoyed working with textiles and have done so for more than 45 years. I am a practising artist and exhibit regularly as a member of the salon group of Dorset Visual Arts and Wessex Contemporary Arts as well as in larger collective exhibitions.

"I had a wonderful day , Imogen was inspiring , patient and so easy to be with. Great fun learning to work with all sorts of fabrics. Using a hand machine gave so much more control with fabric manipulation and has inspired me to continue experimenting at home. "

"I had a wonderful day with Imogen. Her studio is a relaxing space and she is so friendly and welcoming. I was the only student so we had time to chat and she was attentive and helpful with the piece I worked on. Fantastic array of fabrics to choose from and good advice from Imogen on colour and form particularly. Highly recommend. "
