About Diamond Awl Leather Workshop
Hello, my name is Jason Stocks-Young, founder and owner of Diamond Awl Leather Workshop. My studio is on the edge of the Pennines, where the leather workshops take place. I started making leather goods 8 years ago, learning from an old saddle maker using traditional leatherwork techniques.
I share my passion for his craft through teaching others and recently featured in the BBC2 TV series Made in Great Britain, a celebration and exploration of our manufacturing heritage.

Thanks to you both for an amazing time over the last two days. I learnt so much about your craft and also even more about myself. Life changing might sound a bit strong, but yes I do think that those two days, the beautiful messenger bag you helped me make, and those skills are something that will remain with me.
