"I had a really enjoyable session with Kim. She is an excellent teacher, calm and inspires confidence. Making the beads was not as hard as I'd imagined and Kim gave me help if I needed it but let me just get on and experiment and learn too. After making the beads we then put them together making a necklace and a key ring in my case. I was so pleased with the results."

"Kim was first class and her preparation for the session was very impressive. As I am a very inexperienced machine embroiderer, she dealt with all my questions and concerns in a very clear and sympathetic manner. I so enjoyed my session with her and left having a much better idea of how to utilise my machine and what it is actually capable of. During the session, I also created some items on the machine, which I'm very pleased with. I highly recommend Kim's classes and can say with confidence that her skills as a tutor are beyond impressive."

"I spent a wonderful afternoon yesterday making glass beads and jewellery/accessories with my two friends from university. From the moment we stepped in the door, Kim was so welcoming and so very generous with her time and knowledge; she’s a truly fantastic teacher. The girls and I only meet up a few times a year and we like to choose a creative activity to occupy us - we’ve done plenty of crafts together over the years, but were all complete beginners to lampwork. Yet with Kim’s expert tuition, all three of us created 6 beautifully different (and pretty round!) glass beads each, which we then turned into a variety of bookmarks, keyrings and bracelets. We’ll definitely be back for embroidery round two! xx"

"What a wonderful afternoon spent with Kim making an array of beads. Being an absolute beginner, Kim was an excellent teacher and very attentive and patient. She was very welcoming and friendly and the set up was excellent. Such a wide range of colours and accessories, I ended up making 7 lovely stoking fillers for Christmas that i am overjoyed with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try something new and spend a relaxing afternoon in lovely company."

"I attended a course with Kim in March 2020, alongside my 83-year-old mum and 12-year-old daughter. We all had a fantastic time and came away unbelievably satisfied with our bead creations. Kim was patient, fun, and very welcoming, and was able to pitch her explanations to meet our very different learning needs. The safety aspect of working with flame and glass was really well managed, and I would recommend this course to anyone with reasonable hand dexterity who wants to see results quickly. We were all able to make jewellery, bookmarks and key rings with our beads thanks to an excellent assortment of findings made available by Kim."

"Kim was very friendly and accomodating as well as a great teacher. I booked this activity for myself and a friend and we both had an amazing time, we can't wait to go back! We made 20 beads between us in 2 hours and had an hour for making them into accessories afterwards. Kim was excellent with her instruction and advice and we managed to make some really beautiful beads. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone in to their crafts! Kim makes you feel aware but comfortable when working with the flame and is very encouraging."

"Received a voucher as a gift for Christmas. I did this workshop this morning with Kim. Thoroughly enjoyed it and produced lots of beads. She was fun, patient and really informative. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can create in a style to suit you or take home the beads and make things in your own time if you prefer. Highly recommend. Next time I’ll bring along a friend too.
