Maker's bio

Having trained and worked as an illustrator, in 2011 I started experimenting with copper foil and soft soldering developing my own techniques. Firstly making little bird brooches with fragments of broken china as wings. Now I make copper assemblages using vintage china, old keys, wooden bobbins, antique books and bottles. I then patinate the finished assemblage giving it a beautiful verdigris coating. These I sell all over the UK in galleries and shops, as well as taking commissions.
