A busy chair seat weaver keen to pass on skills. I work from home in a converted bedroom on a regular supply of interesting chair projects. Previously I was an office administrator for many years. I learnt to cane and rush seats at West Dean College in Chichester, on part-time courses with Mary Butcher.

"Louise was very knowledgeable and had a great teaching manner. We were made most welcome in her home and served with tea and cake. I came away with an almost finished caned frame and I was very surprised how it all came together. All in all a great course, excellent value and I thoroughly enjoyed the day."
