Maker's bio

I have been a designer/maker of jewellery since taking an HND in silversmithing, jewellery and Applied Arts at the London Guildhall University in 1995. Since discovering the art of metal etching I have been somewhat obsessed by it, and have spent much time trying to perfect what is a very delicate and intricate process. I have been making and selling my work part-time at craft fairs, markets and festivals around the country, as well as some private commissioned pieces, while also working full-time as a civil engineer. Since coming to Margate in 2021 I have moved into a lovely peaceful workspace, and have been working towards setting up my jewellery making courses.
