Avril James reviewed: A 2 day throwing and handbuilding weekend at an established pottery in the New Forest.

"Fabulous potting course. In 10 years I have never been able to master throwing, but believe the tips Jo has given me will mean I have conquered the basics at last. The location is beautiful and the food AMAZING. Thanks Jo and Sophie x"

Lene Ryden reviewed: A 2 day throwing and handbuilding weekend at an established pottery in the New Forest.

"I had a wonderful time developing my throwing, turning and handle pulling skills here at Angels Farm. Jo is an experienced potter who is able to guide anyone in the different ceramics techniques through gentle and patient support and at different levels. The whole weekend was one of relaxation and peace in this most idyllic farm garden surrounded by an abundance of scented flowers. The bed and breakfast is clean, comfortable and offers rest and calm. The delicious breakfast and the scrumptious lunch was punctuated by freshly brewed tea and coffee and home baked cakes and biscuits throughout the day. Jo and her team made everyone feel relaxed and welcome. A real slow down from the outside world but an energising pottery experience. I have already booked myself in on another weekend treat in near future. Thank you. Lene"

E J reviewed: Pottery Slow Down One day Pottery handbuilding and throwing

"Really enjoyed a 2-day course with Jo & Sophie - they're lovely, talented and very patient. Great to have a wheel each and to create some unique pots. I would recommend that anyone who goes on the 2-day course does try to finish their thrown pots on the first day (even if you stay a bit longer that day), as otherwise they won't be ready for trimming etc. Penny's lunch was lovely too - didn't expect 3 courses! Remember that it will take around 8 weeks til you pick up your finished pots. May be back at some point for another course!"

Edit reviewed: Pottery Slow Down One day Pottery handbuilding and throwing

"Had a great day trying out throwing and slab building with Jo. She was attentive and encouraging and really made the day very enjoyable. I can't wait to practise some of the techniques I learned and hope to come back to Jo's workshop soon! Thank very much for the experience, that amazing home made lunch and the friendly environment x"
