Maker's bio

Aleta Doran is a Chester-based mosaic artist and professional member of BAMM (British Association for Modern Mosaics) She has been Artist in Residence at Chester Cathedral since 2019 Aleta has extensive experience as a maker and exhibition curator - she is a member of the Heritage Crafts Association and is listed in the Crafts Council Directory A trained Art Teacher with ten years of teaching experience in schools, Aleta now offers mosaic workshops to groups of all ages in a variety of settings
