I flew from Colorado, US to attend a class with Stephen and David in mid-October 2012. It was a wonderful experience. The instruction is serious and specific. The steps are purposefully structured to build layers of skills. I felt empowered and am looking at painted glass with understanding and confidence. I came to the class with a desire to acquire...

Angharad gave us a wonderful evening. It was great fun making the candles, hanging out with new people and taking home the lovely results. I thoroughly reccommend doing one of her workshops.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening, good fun and informative. I learnt about the different types of wax, and their suitability for different types of candles. Having had a go in the past but not done so recently I will now dig out my kit and have another go!

Bridget's workshops are a great way of learning about the art of silk painting - Bridge provides expert tuition, bags of inspiration and not forgetting a very tasty home cooked lunch! A day with Bridget is also a very sociable, friendly occasion where you can enjoy experimeting with colour and fabric with like-minded people.

Had an great time and learned quite a bit in the three days I was there and it was my first course on carving and I will def think of doing something else again soonish lol. Tony and the team made me very welcome and have no hesitations what so ever in recommending this course

An excellent course! Tony is a very talented wood carver and a very good teacher with a very relaxed stile. I was amazed at how well my "head" turned out, not having carved anything at all before. I would highly recommend this course. All members of the Rocking Horse Shop staff were very friendly and extremely helpful
