This is a course designed to give you an insight to carpentry, joinery and furniture making. Over the course, you will learn the essential skills and methods to the following: Kitchen fitting Wardrobe making First fix site carpentry & Second fix site carpentry You will spend a portion of the course learning how to set up your own workshop, how to establish your own woodworking business as a sole trader and the key steps to working for yourself as a carpenter. After you complete the course, we will help you into work placement opportunities and take the first steps towards starting your new career working with wood. NB: We do not accept entry to our classes 15 minutes after the listed start date. This is to ensure our students have a lesson without disruption once the class has started. Thank you for your understanding and punctuality.

Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
