About the Course

Courses run on Thursday daytimes or evenings and Saturday daytimes.

These classes involve planning and making a woodwork project of your choice.
We will help you with the design, drawings, timber sourcing and joinery plans and then give guidance and advice whilst you make it.
Skill level: Advanced (You should have completed our Beginners Woodwork Level 1&2 courses or have an equivalent level of experience).
Learn how to:
- Plan your own project
- Choose timber and joinery
- Make different joints

Projects will vary greatly in length of time required so if more time needed to complete your project you will be able to book extra weeks.

Tutors are Jenny Smith and Ali Vilarkin

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All tools are provided but you will need to pay for the timber that you use for your project. You are welcome to source and bring your own, or we can source softwood for you.

There is a cafe next to the Makershed in the St Pauls Learning Centre serving hot meals and drinks at lunchtime. Students are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.
