Description
Explore making contemporary sculptural jewellery using wood. We will laminate, paint, lime and inlay. Follow guided exercises which can be adapted to create your own designs. Suitable for beginners or those wishing to extend their skills in a different medium.

What's included in the price?
The tutor will provide examples of finished pieces. You will begin by measuring and cutting a piece of wood (dark woods will be provided) and shaping to your own pendant design.
You will learn how to decorate your piece with silver dots and how to attach findings onto your pendant to make a finished piece. In the second project we will make a wooden ring incorporating either a silver line or a pearl Time permitting we will have time to experiment and learn further possible techniques to experiment with in future.
