About the Course

Come and spend some time in my professional workshop in London this November and make some quality Christmas gifts. Over the years I've saturated my family with wooden presents to the point where its become a running joke-but if you aren't there yet then now is your chance to start down that road!

Youll get to make:

A swing lid box using my hollow chisel morticer just like the one pictured above which is made from black walnut. I put a video on instagram (@tomtrimminswoodwork) if you want to see how the machine works.

Use the disc sander and lathe to make a candle holder with a brass insert. The top surface is concave so it catches the wax

Make a cutting/presentation board to my design or yours, a nice chance to rev up your hand plane.

No experience needed, total beginners and old hands welcome.

Festive jumpers are optional!

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. The voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Use of all tools, plus all the wood you will need. Quite often there are biscuits too!
