Carving in a historic style inspired by C17th limewood architectural carving made famous by Grinling Gibbons with Hannah Hartwell.
You will be provided with a prepared blank of limewood and will learn to carve an acanthus leaf, husk or floral decoration used in architectural ornament. You will be shown all of the processes using traditional tools and techniques.
Suitable for beginners or, for anyone with experience there will be a choice of more complex projects. For those who have been on a previous course, there will be a choice of several other designs.
Courses run 10am – 4pm, we will be glad to welcome you for coffee from 9.45am.

Lunch is served as a ‘bring and share’ sit down buffet - please bring a small plate of food to share, or lunch can be provided by pre-booking at a cost of £5.
