Winter Wonderland Stitch along

Description

Hand stitching with optional mixed media to create your own winter wonderland. Make to frame, in the embroidery hoop provided, or to turn into a textile postcard Hand Stitching is a great solo activity, good for our well-being, which is even better when with others! This is one of the occasional online sew-along gatherings where you will enjoy demonstrations of both mixed media backgrounds and several hand stitch techniques. You will be able to just watch or have a go, ask questions, get support and then learn various different techniques for finishing your piece.

1.5-hour online session - you will be sent a link as well as a kit on booking experienced, supportive tuition by Textile & Mixed Media Artist, Helen Moyes kit contents: cotton fabric paints & bondaweb embroidery hoop sheer fabric pieces embroidery threads embroidery needle beads & sequins

What you will need

You will need either a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer with internet access to do the course via a link you will be sent. An easy-to-clean surface or newspaper/plastic bag to paint your piece on A hairdryer or place to dry paint eg. the top of a radiator

I love to combine different materials and techniques and love to pass my skills onto others at creative workshops.
