In-person course

Willow Christmas Tree

Weave your very own Christmas Tree from Willow ready to take home and decorate! We make our Willow Christmas Trees by supporting the upright Willow rods in a jig and then using Willow withies to weave the tree. We start in a similar way to making a garden obelisk using a tabletop jig, the weave is then changed and we end up with a beautiful, full-looking Christmas tree. There are different weaves that can be used to create your own design, every tree is unique. This workshop will be held inside a Polly Tunnel at the rear of the nursery, this is heated when cold.
