Would you like to develop a co-creative ‘wild writing’ practice inspired by deeper connection with the natural world and your ‘wild self’?
Exploring ‘wild nature writing’ is about creating space in our lives for deepening our connection with the natural world, taking time away from our daily responsibilities, and where possible entering wildish spaces, even those we may find in urban environments. It’s about bringing writing tools and the things that support our basic needs, as well as our intention to open to what Life wants to show us today.
What may attuning to bud and leaf burst reveal?
Which untamed voices long to be communicated?
How might we express our awareness of Earth as our wider body?
Co-creation is about us working together, with me drawing on a 15-year practice as an ecopoet, socially engaged artist and Nature educator to inform the mentoring process. And it’s about working with Nature, the community of other-than-human beings who live alongside us; and with Life, with whatever sense we may have of the Earth and of the Universe. Opening ourselves to let Life be expressed through us.
