Intro to wet felting - felt picture making at Stitching Kitchen

We will a few hours to create a beautiful felt background from scratch using wool roving (unspun merino wool). The magic of wet felting uses hot water and soap to magically convert wool into a beautiful felted picture - which you can stitch or add to your next craft project. Your tutor will be Hannah, the owner of Stitching Kitchen. She set up the business in 2017 to share her passion and skills in all things involving textiles, fabric and threads. Her courses are relaxed and fun, they are held in her Stitching Kitchen in Brackley, Northants where she provides a range of teas, coffee and homemade cakes.

What's included in the price?

Full instruction from Hannah is included in the course along with all the merino wool you will need to create a felted fabric picture. The tools and equipment needed will all be available to you so you only need to bring yourself. Cake and drinks included.

Easy - Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

Stitching Kitchen was created by Hannah Thompson, a textile artist who loves to create in fabric and thread. She teaches various textile art related courses from her studio - and provides home made cakes and teas/coffee. The courses run regularly and also by arrangement - her spacious creative textiles and sewing studios are perfect to host events for groups and for parties.
