Our weekend workshop is a great opportunity to learn the basic of traditional upholstery methods. At the end of the workshop all participants will be taking home fully finished project.
During the workshop all students will learn: basic wood treatment, webbing technique, placing springs, build a traditional stuffed and stitched pad which can be apply to any traditional chair, attach final fabric cover onto the stool.
All the materials will be provided. The students are required to bring a dining chair or a footstool and 1m of their chosen final fabric. Traditional footstool frames will also be available for purchase.
The class runs from 10 am to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. For more information please contact us. Classes are run by Wee Collective tutor Urszula Jochim who is fully certified by the Association of Masters Upholsterers, UK.
