If you have never tried felt making - now is your chance! We will explore this age-old craft and give it a contemporary twist with some hand and machine stitching.
On day one of this workshop Annette will teach you how to make hand-made felt, and we will use the imagery of nature surrounding Flatford Mill to design a larger piece of felt using different coloured pre-felts.
Nuno felt will be the focus of day two, which is a very delicate felt on a cotton silk base
On day three we will investigate the use of hand and machine stitching to enhance your piece of textile art!
