Come and spend a relaxing morning/afternoon exploring nature and the countryside through the art of tapestry weaving.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Enjoy some creative time outdoors, observing the colours, texture and shapes of nature, then learn how to use the age-old technique of tapestry weaving to create your own little piece of woven art inspired by the nature and landscape around us at Llyn Clywedog.
Your tutor, Irene Evison, will help you to get started, guiding you through the basic techniques to use to create a small woven tapestry. Play with colour, or start to weave different outlines and shapes, or have a go at creating some texture.
As the session draws to a close, you’ll finish off your tapestry so that it is secure on the loom before cutting it off ready to take it home with you.
