About the Course
This one-day course is pitched at beginners wishing to gain a firm grip of watercolour basics so that they can experiment and develop their skills at home. The course is suitable for those wishing to explore traditional or experimental watercolour skills.
Learn the basics of watercolour in a fun, compact taster. You’ll get to trial different brushes and paint brands whilst learning a myriad of effects including mark-making,brush handling and care, plus a handful of hints and tips. In the afternoon there will be an artist demonstration on paper stretching plus plenty of time to put some of your new found skills. Our highly experienced tutor will be on hand to guide you.

What's included in the price?
We provide a couple of good quality watercolour sheets and some smaller sample pieces. Feel free to bring an extra pad. Paints, brushes and other equipment is available for use.
Location: Studio 2, Global House 21 Lombard Road Wimbledon SW19 3TZ (The studio door is down the side of the building, on the left just before the Acava studios sign).
