Focusing on all things ‘sea-sidey’ – fish, rockpools, beach huts, sand/water patterns, lobster pots, shells – whatever inspires. An opportunity to experiment with different techniques and media that work with your watercolours. Could be collage, crayons, pens – any interesting media that you have squirreled away in your art cupboard, bring it along! This course is best suited to those who have done some watercolour before and would like to experiment with different ways of developing a theme. Course runs from Tea on Thursday to Lunch on Sunday. Tutor Information Shari Hills lives in Cornwall and is known for her imaginative marine and nature-inspired paintings. Her work is exhibited in several galleries in Devon and Cornwall and she runs a variety of watercolour classes and workshops.

What's included in the price?

The residential fee includes tuition, full board and accommodation, plus travel and admission for field trips where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Courses starting with dinner include an evening session which will run from approximately 8.30pm - 9.30pm. Most weekend and short courses include one free session each full day - this will either be after lunch or after dinner dependent on the course content. Daily sessions for the weekend and short courses usually begin at 9.30am.
