About the Course
Have you got a piece of furniture that looks a little dull or out-dated? Do you fancy being creative? We have designed an inspirational course that's just for you!
With over 20 years of interior design experience from show houses to private clients Sarah is now the owner of ReVamp Boutique, a small company in Essex who upcycle, repurpose and redesign furniture.
During this 2 day workshop you will be base painting and decoupaging a small piece of furniture with wallpaper giving it a new lease of life!
You will need to bring:
- A small chosen piece of furniture
- Water based satin wood paint of your chosen colour and wallpaper.
- A picture of your chosen piece and wallpaper will need to be emailed to us 5 days at the latest before the start of the workshop.
Although you will be working on your own piece throughout the two days, alternative inspiration and techniques will be discussed. You will have a beautiful piece to take home with you.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
There maybe a small charge for varnish on the day but sandpaper, the use of paint brushes and all other materials are included.
There will be complimentary tea and coffee and light lunch is included.
We have the right to cancel a workshop or venue if we have not filled enough spaces. In this instance we will give you at least 7 days notice and we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
This course was brilliant. Sarah our tutor was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and didn’t mind how many questions you asked her. I went with two friends and we all three had a great time and were very pleased with our pieces of furniture we took home.
Sarah also does commissions and sells her furniture on Etsy. I will definitely be keeping an eye on it.
Overall a brilliant course for the money. Two lovely days of fun and learning with great people, and she also gave us two great lunches. I have since done two more pieces of furniture. I would definitely recommend this course.

Response from ReVamp Boutique:Thank you Jacqui!
This was a great introductory course to revamping furniture. I took my sister for her birthday and we spent two days together and Sarah guided us along the way to revamping our furniture pieces. I turned a sewing trolly into a drinks trolly and my sister turned some drawers into a very lovely piece of furniture to put her sewing bits in. It was fun and enjoyable and would definitely recommend to new revamp novices.

Had the most wonderful two days transforming an old coffee table on this workshop. Sarah was so lovely and provided such a memorable time sharing her wealth of upcycling experience and I learned so much from her! I met some lovely ladies also attending the workshop and Sarah provided gorgeous lunches and refreshments too. A fabulous two days!

A brilliant course! Perfect if you want to learn how to upcycle and some tricks of the trade. Excellent personable tutor! Amazing food. A real chillout two days (although I did have soooo much cutting out to do)…… met some lovely participants also.
Definitely would recommend it especially if you feel you just need to get away from your everyday life for a couple of days.Venue was perfect. Thank you.

I attended the up-cycling course and really enjoyed it, in fact, I have just used the skills I was taught to revamp a piece of furniture for my 10 year old granddaughter who was over the moon with it, now my other granddaughter Gracie wants me to do something for her bedroom, looks like I will be a busy bee.
The course was very informative with a lovely ambience xx

I have just completed the 2 day Up cycling Decoupage course and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend the course. Sarah is a great tutor and explained everything thoroughly and offered help and advice whenever needed. It was a busy, but at the same time a relaxed atmosphere, set in great tranquil surroundings.
The lunches were superb and drinks/snacks were on hand all day! The weather was a bonus too and we enjoyed lunch outside!
I am now looking forward to starting my next project and hopefully many more to come! Thank you Sarah.

This 2 day Upcycling Decoupage course was fantastic! Great fun, insightful and inspiring! Sarah was a brilliant tutor who explained things really well. Sarah also accommodated for my dietary requirements as gluten and dairy intolerant and lunch was fab, which was a bonus!
Overall the 2 days were very enjoyable, and the setting was lovely, I would definitely attend another course with Sarah, and she has inspired me in my own Upcycling journey! Highly recommend to anyone! :)
