This Course takes place on the weekend of Saturday 30th July 2022 to Sunday 31st July 2022
This energetic all-day, fully tutored life drawing weekend will introduce you to the fundamentals of life drawing through fast paced exercises, led by artist and tutor Shelley Morrow. Involving plenty of personal feedback this rigorous two-day workshop is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced artists hoping to refresh their drawing skills.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
The session will start at 10am and you are welcome to arrive from 9:30am. When you arrive at New England House you’ll need to come to the main doors next to the Building Managers Office on Level 3 and call the number on the door to be admitted - please note that you’ll need to wear a mask at all times in the corridors of New England House. Once you’re at the session you’ll need to show a digital or printed receipt as proof of booking, then you’re ready to go. All materials and equipment will be provided, so you just need to bring yourself and plenty of energy! We’ll take a lunch break half way through the day – you are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or to pop to the nearby Sainsbury’s, or a café on London road.
Here’s what we are doing to protect everybody at Draw:
- We are monitoring ventilation with a CO2 meter to ensure the space remains well ventilated
- We use an air purifying unit with HEPA filters and a UV system
- Session numbers are strictly capped to allow plenty of space between people
- We keep the studio clean and provide free hand sanitiser
- Our tutors & models are paid sick pay and won’t attend a session if unwell
Here’s what you can do to help protect vulnerable people and keep our sessions open:
- Take a lateral flow test before coming along
- Get fully vaccinated - it is quick, safe and easy
- Please don’t come to the session if you are unwell – you will always get a full refund
- Consider wearing a facemask to protect other people at the session
This session costs £180, or £150 for students & Patreon supporters. If you can’t afford to come to the session, please get in touch and we will find a way to help.
