Try Wood Carving

Try Wood Carving

An evening taster course to get the feel for wood carving. Students will be able to explore and discover the properties of wood. They will learn how to use hand tools, and be guided in the use of power tools. The course will cover some basic techniques, and students can expect to complete a sample which could be the starting point for developing a sculpture project. Open to all levels. Experienced Wood sculpture students may like to use this class to develop an existing project, or to refresh their skills.
