Description:

This is your chance to make a beautiful, delicate fan bird carving from a single piece of wood without glue or pins. Join greenwood carver Steve Tomlin and learn the secrets of making these amazing decorations using simple hand tools.
This course is suitable for beginners but the techniques used will be of interest to experienced woodworkers too.
The fan birds are a traditional craft from Eastern Europe, given as gifts at Christmas time and for other celebrations.

What's included in the price?

A delicious three course home cooked lunch is included in the price.
All of the equipment and materials used on the day are also in the workshop price.
