Traditional and Experimental Tapestry Weaving
Description
For those interested in textiles, surface pattern, colour and texture. After a crash course in tapestry weaving using bobbins, develop the skills to design and weave a tapestry using a range of techniques that demonstrate your powers of expression. Experiment in 2D and 3D techniques both on and off the weaving frame. Experienced weavers work on individual projects.

What's included in the price?
As a beginner you will warp up a frame and hand-knot the warps progressing to weave a sampler. As a more advanced student you will be encouraged to weave a tapestry on a larger scale, perhaps using more unusual materials and techniques. All students are encouraged to develop their own creativity, and since all levels work in the same studio they benefit from each others' shared advice and skills.
