For artists of all ages and levels of experience.
Bill Cummins specialises in oil painting and all forms of printmaking. His work has been exhibited widely – including at the Royal Academy, the Royal Scottish Academy and Lakes Artists – and he has taught all forms of art activity for many years.
There are no specific requirements for this course, other than to bring any drawings, photographs, etc, that you wish to use. If you wish to work out of doors directly from the subject – “The Hay-Barn at Greystoke” (see images above) was produced this way – then there are facilities which will allow you to do this.
The studio is set in the beautiful grounds of Greystoke Castle Estate, the studio is fully equipped, bright, spacious and well lit, catering for all ages and abilities. The class is taught in a small group (maximum of 5 people) so there is plenty of opportunity for one-to-one tuition with Bill.
