Come to our workshop tucked away in the beautiful Cotswold Town of Burford and indulge in a little Colour Therapy at the same time as learning how to use a domestic knitting machine. Choose your favourite colours and textures from a selection of our yarns - lambswool, Angora, kid mohair, lurex, viscose/linen and chenille. We will then plan how those colours work together, which gauge machine to use and then create a striped colour scheme for you to work from. Once we have your colour palette and yarn selection finalised, we will then begin to learn the knitting process. You will be taught how to cast on, then knit following your personalised colour recipe (or prescription depending on how you see it ! ) learning how to change colours and then ultimately how to cast off. By the end of the session, the aim is to have a knitted scarf to take home with you ready to wash and finish at home. Finishing details (sewing in ends) will be outlined in a Handy guide printed or emailed to you after the class.
