Create a beautiful textured blanket with this 5 session crochet course. The sessions are spread over several weeks, giving you time in between to make your textured squares at your own pace, and the quantity depending on the size of the blanket you wish to create.
You need to attend at least session 1, session 2, and/or session 3 to be able to create a textured square afghan, preferably all. The more sessions you attend, the more stitch variations your finished blanket will contain.
Over the course of the entire series, you will be taught six individual crochet stitches, and follow along with a pattern for each square with an expert tutor (sessions 1, 2, and 3). The penultimate session (session 4) will show you how to bring them all together to make a wonderful handmade afghan style blanket, and then the final session (session 5) will involve creating a border around your finished piece.
You will pick up useful tips and tricks that you can apply to your crochet projects in general, and be taught properly with an experienced crochet tutor of nearly ten years.
You need to be confident in creating foundation chains and basic crochet stitches, such as the single crochet (sc) and the double crochet (dc) - US terms. All other stitch variations will be taught and demonstrated live online.
