We are obviously finding that people unavoidably need to cancel or rearrange at a much greater rate than normal at the moment we will do all we can to support with this.
WHO WE ARE...
We are Woodsetton Art Pottery established 1986. We are in The Black Country right on the Eastern edge of South Staffordshire and Shropshire. Do feel free to look us up online to judge our credentials as pottery and see the pots we make and as inspiration for what you might like to have a go at.
YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH US...
Up to 6 people of any age can throw pot on their own wheel. Weekend or weekday options as per availability. All the family/bubbles will enjoy this opportunity on our six adjustable wheels (please enquire several are wheelchair accessible)
On a Taster session you will be provided with all tools, materials, in fact everything you need to throw as many pots as you like in your enjoyable and relaxing hour of throwing at the wheel and then during the remainder of two hour session you can apply some decoration and plan which pots you’d like to take away with you and what colour you’d like any glazed. Up to three pots each can be taken away with you that day along with advice on how to preserve your works at home (or do your own bonfire/pit firing instructions available by email) free of charge. Or you can opt to have any or all of your pots expertly dried, finished, bisque fired, glazed in your choice of colour and then fully glaze and fired again to stoneware temperature to make them oven/microwave/dishwasher/garden proof to last a life time. This extra service is charged at £5 per item to cover the time taken by the potters.
