One day taster course in dry stone walling in Conwy, North Wales.
The aim of the course is to give participants a basic introduction to dry stone walling. Content varies but concentrates on placing stone on stone and letting you see if it is worth attending a two day course. It will include some or all of dismantling a wall, digging out the foundations and relaying the wall up to the coping (top stones). It is held in the beautiful landscape of the Sychnant Pass near Conwy
What's included in the price?
All tools are provided. Participants need to provide suitable work clothes, industrial gloves, stout boots (preferably steel toecap boots) ,warm clothes, waterproofs, sunhat, sunscreen, food and drink.
