Landscape Tapestry Weaving Workshop

An example of work in progress, showing how we'll build up the yarns to make the finished tapestry.

A beginners class where you'll learn a range of stitches you can use to create textured weavings. We'll be working on a frame made from a forked birch stick in place of a loom, so you will actually be weaving part of the landscape into your piece. It's an unusual way to experiment with weaving, without needing expensive equipment.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

We'll include all materials along with tea or coffee. Please bring any of your own yarns you would like to use, along with lunch for the day.
