Two days of professional patchwork and quilting tuition with Lesley, learning techniques which allow you to produce a quilted table runner from simple strips of fabric. We’ll cover rotary cutting and machine piecing of the strips. The strips will then be turned into interesting, complicated looking blocks and finally hand-quilted, ready to take pride of place on your table. This workshop is suitable for confident beginners. You’ll be able to choose from three designs – Birds and trees in blues, a seaside theme with red, blue and white, or a Scandi style Christmas theme with red and creams.
What's included in the price?
All materials required to make your quilt are provided and included in the course fee. A spacious work area is allocated to each student along with their own set of tools to use while they’re here. A plentiful supply of tea, coffee and afternoon cake is provided. Lovely lunches are available to purchase from the museum and they happily cater for any dietary requirements when notified in advance.
